what’s a clay play anyway?

a clay play is an intentional clay session. sometimes it’s a solo session at home and i’m shaping clay for the fun of it. sometimes it’s a workshop with other creative beings. there’s a quote that goes “if you are going to be creative you have to be in a state of play. and you can’t play if you’re being careful”. i play with clay to access my inner child and her innate artistic impulses. it’s a celebration of the process.
